We?re all guilty of it. You?re standing there in a shop looking at something totally lame like a toilet brush, but before you buy it you just have to whip out your phone and see whether anyone?s written a crappy review of it. It doesn?t matter ? it?s just a bloody toilet brush; if it?s long enough to fit down your bog, with a handle at one end and brush on the other, how bad can it be?
Shopping used to be a joyous thing to do (or so I?m told), but internet reviews have ruined the simple surprise of finding out what you just bought at great expense is utter rubbish. Natch. [xkcd]
