Our Plano, TX client is looking for a Strategic Marketing Business Manager.? The selected candidate will have the following skill set:

Specific responsibilities:
Lead the development and support implementation of Strategic Plan
Lead the Business Operations of the Aerospace Product Line in the various reporting activities including sales forecasting, budget and expense reporting, business reports and others as needed.
Monitor the health of Product Lines and monitor the Life Cycles.
Lead and Coordinate Major Proposal Development across the cross-function teams and develop the proposal for submission
Support the study and recommendation of potential targets for Acquisition and be part of a due diligence team in potential joint ventures
Lead all Marketing Communication Duties in support of trade shows, media, collateral and promotional material
Lead the development of Sales Toolkits.
Minimal Travel estimated at less than 10% annually

Marketing Skills Leadership ? Strong Marketing knowledge in Strategy, Planning and Initiatives.? Able to concisely put ideas into presentations and skillful in chart making preparations.? ?Sees the big picture?
Analysis/Problem Assessment ? Strong Computer and Analytical Acumen and able to data mine and secure? relevant information, identifying key issues and relationships from a knowledge base, relating and comparing data from different sources; identifying cause-effect relationships

Team Work:
Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to enter establish teams, build rapport and respect quickly, in order to provide technical or sales guidance.? Ability and desire to seek win-win solutions

Business Acumen:
Mature business and financial acumen to discern risks/opportunities of key strategic programs in the industry.
Tenacious, Self Starter -? Able to motivate self in a team or independent work environment and drive to success by identifying and removing internal and external barriers that may exist.

Communication skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.? Must be a good listener.

Impact / Influence:
Ability to influence outside of one?s sphere of control.

Leadership:
Experience in overcoming obstacles to succeed in the face of diversity and deal with ambiguity.

Experience/Education Required:
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of significant accomplishments in Strategic Marketing, Product Management and/or Business Operations, in the Aerospace industry. Candidates from other industries with a strong background and aptitude for Strategic Marketing, Product Management and Business Operations will also be considered:
Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent work experience.? Technical background preferred.
Ten or more years of Aerospace experience preferred
Experience in Strategic Marketing, Strategic Planning, Forecasting, Business Operations and Product Management preferred
Computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills ? spoken and written
Superlative time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
